Sporting slick paint, a clean body, and powerful 350 under the hood.

The beauty you see here is a slick-restored 1971 Chevrolet Nova and it could be yours for $36,995. Streetside Classics is proud to offer this stunning and potent muscle car for your consideration. If this piques your interest, you can make an offer on the vehicle right here. The recipe for an attractive car is almost as old as the automobile itself. Such is evident with this example. Take a fast 350 V8 engine, pair it with a quick-shifting four-speed, and cram it into the smallest and lightest body you have. This Nova takes that recipe to the next level as a very potent X-body that’s both beautifully built and satisfyingly fast.

This Nova is dressed to impress in a stunning and sleek Silver Metallic paint; it looks especially sinister with those SS stripes on the hood and decklid, as well as the Baldwin Motor-style hockey stripes down the flanks. This is a solid car with good gaps all around and the doors and trunk function with precision thanks to new weather-stripping. Inside, the black vinyl bench seat cabin nicely contrasts the exterior. The Hurst shifter is topped with a white cue-ball knob for a cool industrial look. The big vinyl dashboard is free of cracks and appears to be original. All of the original gauges are still in the factory bezel, but now augmented by a tachometer on the steering column and a trio of auxiliary gauges to help monitor important engine functions.

Blast your favorite beats from the AM/FM/MP3 stereo that lives in the dash and powers a great Kenwood stereo system. You’ll also be comfortable when driving thanks to the grippy three-spoke steering wheel that looks brand new. Apart from that, however, the interior appears to be stock with great workmanship on the seat covers, door panels, and matching black carpets. At the rear, you’ll find a spacious trunk that is nicely finished with correct spatter paint and a vinyl mat.

This classic is powered by a 350 cubic-inch V8 motor mated to a four-speed manual that includes a set of double-hump heads for some added punch. The clean engine compartment features polished aluminum Chevrolet valve covers and a shiny Edelbrock aluminum intake manifold with an Edelbrock 600CFM 4-barrel carburetor sitting on top. Other noteworthy elements include 3.73 gears, long-tube headers and an H-pipe Flowmaster dual exhaust system. The entire build rides on American Racing Torque Thrust wheels wrapped in staggered 225/50/17 front and 255/50/17 rear blackwall radials.
