First things first, the big attraction to this coupe is the numbers-matching 402ci big block V8. Paired with an automatic transmission, it kicks out plenty of power, making this rear-wheel-drive car a load of fun to drive.

A shiny Orange exterior over Saddle interior is the factory setup and typifies the style of the time. The factory vinyl black top has a nice sheen to it, with no signs of fading, cracking, or other damage. Rallye wheels look blemish-free as well.

Considered a luxurious car when it was new, this Monte Carlo comes with some nice perks. Factory air conditioning is great for cruising in the summertime, but if you want to let the breeze blow through the power windows makes that easy. The power-adjustable driver’s seat is another nice touch, and so is the tilt-adjustable steering wheel.

Showing the true age of this vintage Chevy, there’s a factory 8-track player still installed. If you have any 8-tracks or can get some, it’s a cool way to listen to your music while cruising.

When the Chevrolet Monte Carlo was created and introduced as a 1970 model, it borrowed heavily from the Chevelle and Cadillac Eldorado. Using the G-body platform, the Monte Carlo quickly gained credibility through NASCAR races. Today, these cars are considered classics, but prices have not spun out of control, putting in reach for many shoppers the prospect of owning a powerful American coupe from that particular era of automotive history. This car is being offered by Premier Auction Group.
