That’s not a typo: this car has not been repainted.

Finding a well-preserved survivor from the golden age of American muscle cars is something to be celebrated. This 1969 Chevrolet Camaro SS Convertible is just such a vehicle. Not only has it been well-preserved, that striking Dover White paint is original. That’s difficult to believe, considering how glassy smooth the exterior looks from end to end. Thanks to Arizona Muscle Cars, such an amazing time capsule is now available for you to purchase.

This Camaro comes with the coveted RS or Rally Sport package, which was optional. That means there are hidden headlights, unique striping, RS wheels, upgraded carpeting, front bucket seats, and other goodies added to the car.

You’ll note that everything on the exterior of this Chevy presents extremely well. Those stripes and the factory badges are in perfect condition. That’s also true of the black soft top. All the body panels are straight and don’t show any signs of major damage, which is also true of the chrome and wheels. It doesn’t get much better than this.

Keeping things original is the same RPO-L48 350ci V8 mated to an automatic transmission, exactly what was installed when the car rolled off the assembly line. There’s also a 12-bolt rear end, which harnesses all that power smoothly.

Introduced in 1967 as an answer to the Ford Mustang, the Chevrolet Camaro quickly became a sales success and household name. While plenty of people have fond memories of Camaros, the 1969 model year is debatably the most popular. GM used a revised design that made the muscle car look more aggressive and athletic, which still resonates today. A subtle change is the louvres in the sheet metal ahead of the rear wheels, almost like faux air intakes. With the popularity of this car and its impeccable condition, you can’t really go wrong if you want to add it to your collection.
