1965 Shelby Cobra Everett-Morrison Shines Like An Emerald

Manually shift the power with a five-speed transmission.Ford Racing emblems grace the finned valve covers, and an aluminum intake crams air into the engine for utmost performance. To top it all off, a retro-style air cleaner was added for a period feel.

Inside the cabin is standard Cobra with no frills, just low back bucket seats in black leather. Inside is a thick wood-rimmed steering wheel, VDO gauges, and flip-up race-style toggle switches. For handling, an independent four-wheel suspension complete with beefy sway bars was installed, and power steering helps handle the car with ease. In addition, the rear features an independent suspension setup. Of course, stopping is necessity, so four-wheel disc brakes help bring this Cobra to an abrupt halt. 17-inch five-spoke wheels are wrapped with BFGoodrich tires that measure 245/45/17 in the front and 255/45/17 out back.

Set up as an SC, this Cobra features flares, and jacking stubs in place of bumpers, a chrome roll hoop, and a glass windshield among other things. A spacious trunk has room for a spare and tools or that track day or throw in a small bag if traveling.
