If you love the color red, then you’ll love this Chevelle.

Classic Auto Mall is pleased to announce this stunning 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Coupe for sale. This car is a true original survivor, showing just 29,800 miles on the dashboard. It’s a pristine example exuding show quality, street fight readiness, and head-turning capabilities. This ‘69 Chevelle is the type of car that will excite you from every angle, whether you are the driver or merely a passenger or passerby.

The Chevrolet Chevelle is one of those GM cars that seemed right straight out of the factory and only improved as the years passed to reach ultimate perfection. It’s no wonder the Chevelle became one of the strongest marques in automotive history. At one point, it boasted a complete list of body styles, options, trim grades, color combinations, and engines which ranged from mild to powerhouse. The ability to customize a Chevelle as such truly embodied what the muscle car era was about.

This 1969 Chevrolet Chevelle SS Coupe is dressed from head to toe in red. The Garnet Red respray is very correct on this mostly straight car and emits a shine that will dazzle in any lighting. A single black pinstripe cuts across the beltline and further accented by correct brightwork and the super clean grille and bumpers. The black vinyl top is in showroom quality and is the icing on the cake here.

Speaking of red, look at that loud red-hot interior. It features a split vinyl bench at the front and a solid bench in the rear, both in near-perfect condition. Peep those two custom-made pillows on the rear bench as well. The beautiful red headliner shows no drips as it sits high above the sea of red carpeting. The color-matching door panels sport some added aluminum trim for accenting purposes. The black dash sits behind the original steering wheel in red, which features a rare automatic column shift and houses the standard gauges. Three additional gauges are mounted underneath the dash, so the driver can monitor important driving information. Don’t worry about those hot summer months, because this Chevelle includes Vintage Air conditioning that blows nice and cold air.

This '69 Chevelle is powered by a numbers-matching, fully documented, real SS 396 cubic-inch big-block engine. The engine bay will stun spectators at your local car show as they peep the chromed valve covers and air cleaner that gleam proudly against the red engine block and intake manifold. There is no sign of any corrosion on the aluminum parts within the engine compartment. The V8 is paired to a 700 R4 Automatic transmission that replaces the original TH400. The consigner still possesses the original transmission and it will be included with the purchase of this car. What’s more, the underside of this Chevelle is in great condition and just as clean as the topside.

While the condition of this Chevelle is best described as show-ready, it’s so much more than that. It’s fully capable, ready to tackle the streets and its competition. Don’t let this opportunity pass you by. The current listing price is set at $39,900, but you can make an offer of your choice right here.
