It received bumpers a new grille, and all-new bumpers, light bezels and lenses. Whatâs more, this car has all-new weather stripping, trim pieces, glass, and window frame moldings. All of the nuts, bolts, screws, and fasteners are new stainless-steel ones. Itâs not hard to see that this â72 Camaro SS was treated well and received a thorough restoration with precise attention to detail. The current asking price for this beauty is set at $62,900, but feel free to make an offer on the car here.
This stunning Hugger Orange Chevy Camaro sports a Heidtâs Pro-G front subframe with rack and pinion steering, Tubular A-arms, and dropped spindles. It rides on Heidtâs 4-link rear suspension with subframe connectors and adjustable coilover billet shocks on all four corners. It also has heavy-duty sway bars, body mounts and suspension bushings. The full chassis was tuned by a race car shop; the ad says that this Camaro was set up to be a âG-Machine.â It rides on 17x8-inch Coyâs Wheels wrapped in Toyo Proxes RA1 tires.
This Camaro is powered by a ZZ4 350 cubic-inch V8 crate engine mated to a T-56 six-speed manual transmission with a Hurst shifter. The car received a new hydraulically actuated clutch, Hedman ceramic-coated street headers, and a custom bent stainless exhaust system with Y-pipe and dual-tone mufflers. This combination produces 360 horsepower and 400 pound-feet of torque. All of that power reaches the rebuilt 10-bolt 3:42 rear end and is put to a stop via Wilwood disc brakes at the front and rear, with new stainless-steel brake lines. A new fuel tank and fuel lines were recently installed.
This 1972 Camaro received a professional body shop paint job in Hugger Orange with pearl white stripes. Not only is the outside of this car beautiful, but the cabin is a looker as well. The custom interior was done by Extreme Upholstery. It includes a Classic Industries air conditioning system, and a Classic Dash insert with Auto Meter speedometer, tachometer, and gauges. New seat belts (three-point in the front), new carpets, and new floor mats were added. Only 2,000 miles were clocked since the restoration. Now all thatâs missing is a new owner to enjoy it.
