Though this French sports car has traveled all around the world, it has less than 20,000 miles on its odometer.

While the United States has the Imported Vehicle Safety Compliance Act, which allows the legal to importation and road use of any foreign-market car over 25 years old, Canada has a similar rule, but the age limit is 15 years old. Though this French-manufactured sports car was originally sold in the Japanese market, this 1990 Renault Alpine GTA actually made its way into the United States via Canada.

Fast Lane Classic Cars Inc. of St. Missouri now offers this unique Renault for sale. Though the model has traveled to France, Japan, Canada and now the United States, it is a remarkably low mile example of this rear-engine sports car. Of course, the sale will include all of the vehicle’s customs paperwork and importation documents.

The exterior of this car is extremely clean, with its dark green paint looking fantastic on a car with its shapes. Additionally, the wheels tie the exterior together, providing a simplistic but excellent design.

Inside the cabin, you’ll two very interesting looking front sport seats, which feature fairly fresh black leather upholstery. Additionally, this sports car features various creature comforts, such as an Alpine stereo system, air conditioning, power windows, power locks, and a rear defroster.

Remarkably, this Renault has only covered 31,203 kilometers during its lifetime, which translates to approximately 19,388 miles. This sports car features a rear-mounted powerplant, which is a turbocharged 2.5-liter 5-speed V6 engine that made about 197 horsepower and 214 lb.-ft. of torque from the factory. The V6 pairs to a 5-speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels. Last but not least, this model features a Borla muffler, but the stock one is also included with the vehicle’s purchase.

This Renault Alpine GTA is an undeniably ‘80s sports car, and it’s a very unique one, too. Though this vehicle has spent plenty of time traveling, it’s ready for some more miles on the odometer.
