This fully built coupe packs quite the punch.

First things first, this 1973 Buick Riviera is a powerhouse. That’s why Streetside Classics is excited to announce this fully custom luxury coupe for sale. This example is the perfect classic with a stunning color combination, thrilling V8 power, and some added goodies to boot. Although it has an original numbers-matching motor, the big 455 cubic-inch V8 motor was rebuilt with dual-quads and a supercharger on top. Apart from the monstrous power it delivers, this Riviera also provides several comforts that you can enjoy on every ride.

This coupe has been with one owner for its entire life, and it’s evident that the car was well taken care of. So much so, that the car has not been kept anywhere near stock. Instead, this 1973 Buick Riviera includes decades worth of labor and love that has taken it to new heights. The green exterior paint has a deeper tone than the factory color and contains a metallic element that offers the perfect depth and shine from any angle. It gives this coupe a sporty yet sophisticated look and hugs every curve with grace.

This example highlights one of General Motors’ most dated styles with a creased hood line, artful door dip, and iconic boat tail rear end. If you manage to take your eyes away from the monstrous motor that’s peeking out from the hood, then you will notice the custom split bumper front end. The car sits on polished 18-inch custom alloy wheels that accentuate the rest of the brightwork found on the body.

The camel cloth interior contrasts the green and feels just as plush as it looks in the photos. There are less than 1,000 miles on this build since completion, which is certainly believable with the pristine condition this ’73 Riviera is in. The cabin includes a wood-like trim and Riviera logo stitched onto the headrests in green. There’s enough room in this luxury coupe to seat six people, or you can just fold down the armrest in each for added comfort. The wraparound dash gives you access to everything from cruise control, to the gauges, air conditioning, and radio.

The spotlight feature on this 1973 Buick Riviera is the award-winning engine bay. Take this to a car show and watch spectators and competitors, alike, flock to your car. The gloss black inner walls contrast the triple-nickel chrome plating for a shine that is sure to win you some points. The original 455 engine was rebuilt and fortified with a custom crank, piston rods, and cylinder heads with Crane rocker arms. The dual Holley 700 four-barrel carburetors and Magnum 6-71 supercharger have this bad boy pushing out almost 1,000 horsepower! And it lets out a thunderous roar to let everyone know about it. The original TH400 three-speed automatic transmission was also rebuilt to handle all the extra power.

If all of this doesn’t impress you enough yet, feast your eyes on the immaculate, rust-free undercarriage. The sale includes all the documentation, including the original warranty card, title, owner’s manual, maintenance records, service and build receipts, and restoration photos. This classic has the power and comfort to provide the ultimate ride of your life. It is truly one of a kind and now is your opportunity to make it yours. Call today!
