A beautiful Cypress Green with a Crocus Yellow top.

Calling all classic car lovers. Classic Auto Mall is pleased to present this beautiful 1965 Chevrolet Nova Sedan for sale. This example is almost untouched, except for an exterior respray, new tires and a replaced gas tank. The current asking price as of this writing is a reasonable $11,500. Seeing as there are just 26,000 original miles on the dashboard and it’s in great condition, this offer probably won’t last much longer. It’s a truly remarkable car and will make its new owner very happy – not to mention it will be a valuable addition to their collection.

The Chevrolet Nova debuted as the Chevy II in 1961 as a 1962 model. It offered consumers a third option in terms of size, falling between the (then) compact Corvair and the full-size models. It was manufactured in five generations spanning from 1962 until 1979, and then 1985 through 1988. The Chevy Nova was offered in three variants: a two-door sports coupe, a four-door sedan, and a four-door station wagon.

The example you see here is the four-door sedan in the stunning deep greenish-black hue called Cypress Green. The Crocus Yellow top and chrome accents add a nice contrast to the look. The paint is a respray and has charismatic patina that only time can create. All in all, this Chevy Nova is in good condition and features excellent brightwork that shines as it should. It is powered by the original 230 cubic-inch inline six-cylinder engine in all its orange glory. It is topped by a one-barrel carburetor and mated to a two-speed Powerglide automatic transmission.

The clean interior features cloth and vinyl in what Chevrolet calls a “Fawn” color. In essence, it appears to be vertically stitched cloth inserts in darker and lighter tan patterns with vinyl bolsters and off-white midline stripes. It sounds like a mouthful, but certainly emits a classy and eye-catching look that is true to the times. The color scheme and pattern can be found on both the front and rear benches. The dashboard includes a central oval instrument cluster and received a simple radio delete. The headliner is nicely preserved as it looks down on the clean gold carpeted floors. The interior may be straight out of the ‘60s, but it was definitely well taken care of and shows little wear.

It is safe to say that this 1965 Chevrolet Nova Sedan has aged gracefully and is an original piece of classic automotive history. It starts right up, runs smoothly, and is a pleasure to drive.
