Nicknamed “Bad Dog,” it’s safe to say that this Nova has both bark and bite.

While it is always nice seeing survivor-quality classic vehicles, I prefer seeing examples that showcase personal customizations. This 1965 Chevrolet Nova is a perfect example of that – this extensively modified hot rod features the nickname “Bad Dog” along its side, and now, it’s time for this pup to find a new home.

Unique Specialty & Classic Cars in Mankato, Minnesota offers this menacing Nova for sale. This customized Chevy is in great shape throughout, and it’s also a running and driving vehicle.

The exterior of the vehicle features semigloss black paint and various personal touches, such as the number 3 on both rear quarter panels (as a tribute to the late Dale Earnhardt Sr.), custom pinstriping all over, and, of course, the Bad Dog illustration on each of the front fenders. As expected, there are skinny wheels and tires up front, while the rear of the vehicle features wheelwell tubs to accommodate the large wheel and tire setup.

Inside the cabin, things get somewhat interesting. As you can see, the interior features a variety of different colors – the carpeting is black, the seats are tan, and the rest of the interior is a pretty light teal color. Though it’s hard telling what vehicle donated them to this Nova, the front seats and center console are definitely more modern, while the rear seats are removed in order to accommodate the wheel tubs. Last but not least, there are also a handful of track-oriented upgrades present, such as some aftermarket gauges under the dash, a column-mounted tachometer, and a roll cage.

This Nova features a 462 cu.-in. big block V8 engine, which pairs to a Turbo 400 Hydra-matic automatic transmission. Since building the vehicle, the driveline has covered approximately 2,400 miles.

Do you think you have what it takes to handle this bad dog?
