The Chevy II/Nova was a small vehicle manufactured by the American automaker in five generations for the 1962 through 1979, and 1985 through 1988 model years. It was the top model in the Chevy II lineup through 1968. Nova replaced the Chevy II nameplate for the 1969 through 1979 models when the former badge was dropped.

The 1965 two-door sports coupe you see here is part of its first-generation run. The 1965 Chevrolet Chevy II and Nova were updated with cleaner front-end styling thanks to a fresh and fuller-width grille with new integrated headlight bezels and lowered parking lights. Enhancements include 10:1 pistons (pump gas), World Products cast iron heads, an MSD ignition box, an Edelbrock RPM single-plane intake, a Holley 750cfm double pumper, and a hydraulic flat-tapper camshaft paired with roller rockers. All in all, this 1965 Chevrolet Nova delivers 385 horsepower and 427 pound-feet of torque.
