Despite a rough exterior appearance, this Chevy 210 should make a solid cruiser, especially with its Borg-Warner manual transmission.

Enthusiasts often use the term “Tri-Five” in reference to Chevrolet’s 150, 210, Bel Air, and Nomad models that the company manufactured specifically during the 1955, 1956 and 1957 model years. These vehicles all featured a front-engine, rear-wheel-drive layout, making them popular choices for hot rodders, as evidenced by this 1956 Chevrolet 210 Sedan.

Shelton Classics & Performance in Mooresville, North Carolina offers this Chevrolet for sale. The undercarriage of the sedan is impressively clean and the build list features quality components, such as a newer crate engine. The seller acknowledges this, too, noting, “Don't let the exterior fool you; inside and underneath this 210 is hopped up, cleaned up, and ready to cruise with the whole family!”

This Chevrolet sits nicely as a result of lowering suspension, while the newer aftermarket wheels nicely complement the ratty exterior look. Meanwhile, the interior features new door panels, recovered seats, an aftermarket steering wheel, and an upgraded tilt steering column, all of which make it comfortable for occupants.

The seller offers throughout the ad that this 210 is a running and driving sedan that is ready to go. Under the hood, you’ll find a new 350 cubic-inch Chevrolet crate engine. Somewhat surprisingly, this engine pairs to a Borg-Warner T5 5-speed manual transmission to drive the rear wheels, and the ad states the drivetrain has 18,028 miles on it. The new engine also uses an aluminum radiator, a new brake master cylinder, new brake booster, and more.
