While the Challenger SRT Demon is king of the Dodge’s performance car offering, those looking for a machine with less of a dragster focus might want to take note of the Hellcat Redeye. It uses many of the components from the Demon, but puts them into a more track-focused package. Restore A Muscle Car have a well specified example just waiting to find a new home.

This wide-bodied machine is the true embodiment of modern American muscle. Taking the standard Challenger and injecting it with pure testosterone, this mean machine packs 798hp from its supercharged 6.2-liter V8 heart. However, the Hellcat Redeye is about more than just straight-line performance. Its widened footprint allows for greater road holding through the bends, and its track tuned suspension keeps weight transfer under control — as does its adaptive dampers. In Track Mode this car aims to be far better suited to hot laps than any Demon.

Finished in a vivid shade of orange with contrasting black hood, roof, and trunk, this Hellcat is aggression distilled. Its additional bodywork over a standard Challenger not only looks great, but also reduces lift at speed. The black alloy wheels nestled within those swollen arches also host a distinctive set of orange brake calipers to complete the look.
