This Dodge Coronet has got the murdered out look down pat.

Nothing looks more intimidating than an all-black or murdered out classic muscle, like this 1969 Dodge Coronet from Earlywine Auctions. It already has aggressive lines and a stance that looks ready to pounce on lesser cars. Add to that the fact this ride has the performance clout to back all of this up, proving its bite is just as bad as its bark.

The 440ci V8 motor has been rebuilt and bored .060 over. During the process, a new cam, valves, pistons, and bearings were all installed. Not having your ride start when you turn the key not only is embarrassing, it can become frustrating. This Dodge Coronet has an electronic ignition installed, making it more reliable without losing the coolness factor. A 3-speed automatic transmission that is a built 727 with a 2500 stall converter works with the engine, easily handling all that power with the smoothness you need. While going fast in a hurry is great, so is being able to keep that under control. Fortunately, there are disc brakes and power steering in this ride, so you don’t need to worry about that.

Pretty much everything on the exterior of this classic Coronet is black, and that makes it so much more amazing. That includes a black grille, steel wheels, and trim, making the headlights and taillights stand out in a big way.

The blue and black interior color scheme looks absolutely amazing. Perfect quilted vinyl seats in the front and rear add a lot of style and make for a comfortable ride, plus there are matching quilted vinyl door inserts for an even more customized look. The original dash and gauges are in tremendous shape, helping you to relive the glory days of American muscle cars more fully.

As one of the earlier American muscle cars, the Dodge Coronet is not only a lot of fun to drive, but also represents an important era in automotive history.
